Tuskegee Airmen subject of two novels

Thanks to reader John Bradberry, who told us about author John Gibson, who recently appeared at the Sulphur Springs Municipal Library to discuss his two novels, “A Sparrow Has Wings” and “Higher Heights.” The fictional accounts are historically correct, and deal with the historic Tuskegee Airman, according to the author, who told those attending his lecture that he felt the Tuskegee Airmen had never received credit for their historic service, so the focus of his work has been giving these brave men recognition.
