House promoted to Sierra Industries GM

By Janice Wood · May 26, 2011 ·

Sierra Industries has promoted Jamie House to General Manager.

In her new role, House will take over day-to-day corporate management for the South Texas business jet maintenance and modification facility.

House brings a broad portfolio of management experience to her new role, having held a variety of positions at Sierra since originally joining the company in 2003. Her career at Sierra began with a dual role as Assistant Controller and Assistant to the General Manager. Before long, she was moved to Materials Manager and then overall Operations Manager before becoming Controller in 2008. In 2010, she was promoted to business manager at Sierra Industries.

SkyWay Group/Sierra Industries CEO Mark Huffstutler remarked, “Jamie has been an invaluable asset to Sierra during her tenure here and I am excited to have her at the helm during these fast-moving and sometimes unpredictable times. She has earned the respect of everyone at Sierra for her fair-minded realism and quick thinking. I am sure her experience and expertise will help us achieve even greater heights in the years to come. We look forward to a long and productive relationship as we continue to grow Sierra Industries.”

Sierra Industries has specialized in Cessna aircraft for 28 years and is a leader in Citation Performance Enhancement Modifications, holding more than 75 proprietary Citation modifications and products – which covers only part of the company’s 300 FAA supplemental type certificates portfolio of several aviation related companies, including FlighTime Business Jets, the largest Part 135 charter firm and Citation aircraft management company in South Texas, and the Uvalde Flight Center, a full service FBO.

Building on more than 25 years of Citation modification history and over 15 years of experience in Citation re-engining, Sierra’s Williams FJ44-powered aircraft modifications include FAA and EASA-approved Citation I Eagle II and Stallion modifications, the Citation II-based Super II and the Citation S550-based Super S-II.
