Hmmmmm…. this press release says it is experimental, yet Lycoming’s literature on the engine implies it is intended for LSAs, which are ASTM compliant. Maybe we’ll learn more at Oshkosh, Jon.

How is the engine certificated? Experimental, Part 33, ASTM?

Great news, John! Make sure you tell everyone that this engine is certified to operate on lead-free, ethanol-free autogas, saving its owners $1 or more compared to 100LL.
