AOPA spent $810,000 on lobbying

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association spent $810,000 in the third quarter to lobby the federal government on a legislation regarding airport infrastructure and the FAA’s budget, according to an Associated Press report, that notes that the group’s lobbying is up 19% from the $680,000 it spent a year earlier and 11% from the $730,000 it spent in the second quarter this year.
