Sennheiser S1 Stage rocks Sun ’n Fun

By Janice Wood · March 28, 2012 ·

Sennheiser Aviation has partnered with Sun ’n Fun to rebuild and rename the historic Corn Roast event stage the “Sennheiser S1 Stage.”

Sennheiser’s sponsorship agreement is for five years and is part of Sennheiser’s overall contribution as an official sponsor of Sun ’n Fun, officials said.

Located on the campgrounds of the Sun ’n Fun campus on Lakeland-Linder Regional Airport (LAL) in Florida, the Sennheiser S1 Stage was officially opened with a concert by Rodeo Drive as part of the traditional Corn Roast on Sunday, March 25.

“Supporting Sun ’n Fun by sponsoring the stage is a great opportunity for Sennheiser to combine our passion for aviation and music,” said Dave Dunlap, director of Sennheiser Aviation. “Our contribution is only a small component of rebuilding the stage. We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped in the rebuilding process. They have done a tremendous job at providing the visitors at Sun ’n Fun with a place to relax and enjoy some good entertainment!”
