Gulf Coast Avionics expands internationally

By Janice Wood · June 7, 2012 ·

Gulf Coast Avionics, based on Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (LAL) in Lakeland, Florida, has added international satellite operations in Peru and in Spain.

“The avionics, instrument, and pilot supply market is truly international in scope, and we are positioning ourselves to serve a growing number of off-shore markets,” said Rick Garcia, president of Gulf Coast Avionics. “We have identified key locations in several countries where we can justify having a local presence, and the countries of Peru and Spain are two of the latest examples of our worldwide expansion.”

“In each country where we have established a satellite location, we have identified and partnered with the leading avionics shop in that region,” he continued. “These shops have the experience, knowledge and substantial customer base on which they can quickly capitalize on the Gulf Coast Avionics brand in their respective markets. We look forward to making our extensive inventory of avionics, instruments, and pilot supplies available on an international scale.”

The latest locations include Gulf Coast Avionics Peru located in Lima, Peru, and Gulf Coast Avionics España located in Tarragona, Spain.
