Turbine Soot Master introduced

By Janice Wood · June 13, 2012 ·

Real Clean Aviation Products has introduced Turbine Soot Master, a carbon soot cleaner and degreaser designed to address carbon exhaust build-up and staining that plagues most turboprop aircraft.

With a streak-free formula, Turbine Soot Master dissolves carbon, grease and oil, revealing a clean surface with very little effort, according to company officials.

The product is rinse-free and does not require the use of any water. Just spray-on and wipe the surface clean with a microfiber or terry cloth, said Dustin Zeitler from Real Clean Aviation.

“We know from our own aircraft detailing business that carbon exhaust build-up from turbine aircraft (especially turboprops) is a real problem for the aviation industry,” he said. “We have helped solve this problem with Turbine Soot Master. This product works far better than anything that we have ever used to remove carbon exhaust streaks from aircraft. It’s safe, effective and eliminates the need for wet washing the aircraft, which saves a lot of time and effort. We have received fantastic feedback from everyone who has tried the product. In fact a large turboprop maintenance facility we showed it to last month ordered a case on the spot!”

The company has produced a 40-second demonstration video
