Guidance Aviation of Prescott, Arizona, will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary and unveiling its newest training technologies — a “Maneuvers Guide” mobile app and an online training portal called “MyGA” during HELI-EXPO 2013.
The mobile application includes a series of High Definition (HD) instructional flight videos and a digital Maneuvers guide. This new training tool provides student access to procedures and completion standards anywhere, anytime, company officials note.
In addition to the app, Guidance will also unveil the “MyGA” Training Portal at the HELI-EXPO 2013. MyGA contains hundreds of instructional videos and flight training documents. “MyGA” may be accessed via password on the Guidance Aviation website. Students may view content from any laptop or personal computer.
“Worldwide internet users will more than double by 2015, and most of them will be mobile,” says John Stonecipher, president of Guidance Aviation. “Research studies are also telling us that more adults are viewing media on mobile devices than trade papers and magazines together. Add in that a vast majority of mobile time is spent on apps, this was the right move for our students and clients.”
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, Guidance will be hosting an event for guests in the Guidance Aviation HELI-EXPO booth, C2703, on Tuesday, March 5.
