AeroBase Group now distributor for Checkers

By General Aviation News Staff · July 10, 2014 ·

MELBOURNE, Florida — AeroBase Group has become an authorized distributor for Checkers Industrial, a supplier of aircraft chocks and cable protectors.

Products include not only aircraft chocks and cable protectors, but also warning whips and warning lights.

AeroBase Group owner Tom Corrao said, “The addition of Checkers’ products to our lineup fills a void in our product catalog and allows us to offer the safety equipment our clients need along with the aircraft parts and supplies they already rely on us for.”

Checkers Industrial, which began operations in 1987, offers cable and hose protection systems, wheel chocks, warning whips, warning lights, and more. Checkers Industrial Safety Products is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, with an additional manufacturing and support facility in Mesa, Arizona. All productsare produced in the United States.

The partnership between AeroBase Group and Checkers Industrial promises to help Checkers Industrial further reach a global market, due to AeroBase Group’s global presence, company officials noted. AeroBase Group services numerous customers around the globe, including maintenance and repair organizations, contract manufacturers, distributors, and brokers.

The full range of Checkers Industrial products will be available from AeroBase Group effective immediately.

AeroBase Group specializes in aircraft parts, military parts, ground support equipment, and maritime parts, but also carries aftermarket, OEM, and government excess surplus equipment and supplies. AeroBase Group also handles consignment inventories for various companies, while also purchasing inventory from companies around the globe looking to reduce their stock.
