Sun Valley Aviation at Valley International Airport (HRL) has joined the Avfuel branded FBO Network. Located in Harlingen, Texas, approximately 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, Sun Valley Aviation provides aviation services to the Rio Grande Valley as well as Mexico and Latin America.
As a member of the Avfuel network, Sun Valley Aviation will take advantage of Avfuel’s processing systems, training resources, and will offer Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP Rewards.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Sun Valley Aviation to the Avfuel Network,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel Vice President, Marketing. “Although a fairly new company (the FBO was established in 2008), Sun Valley Aviation is helmed by experienced aviation professionals with goals similar to Avfuel’s: to leave all guests with a lasting impression and professionalism and the knowledge that they’ve received the highest levels of service and care.”
The FBO was able to meet an important need early in its existence: the Sun Valley team boasts extensive experience traveling, training, and flying throughout Latin America, and is well-versed in processes and procedures that can seem complicated to the less-experienced traveler, FBO officials said.
“We can either fly guests ourselves, our consult with them regarding the immigrations and customs procedures for the country they’ll be visiting,” said Patrick Kornegay, President, Sun Valley Aviation. “This knowledge has been extremely valuable for many of our guests.”
Sun Valley Aviation provides numerous amenities, including rest areas, a terminal, and dedicated lounge areas. On-site maintenance is available, and the FBO is currently leasing space in its new hangar. Concierge services handles everything from catering to transportation to hotel accommodations.
