Conklin & de Decker has released its 2015 State Tax Guide for General Aviation.
The guide contains the latest taxes and fees imposed on general aviation in all 50 states. It also addresses the sales and use taxes applicable to aircraft sales, ownership, leases, parts, and labor.
Included in the guide are common exemptions from the state sales and/or use taxes, such as common carrier, occasional sales, fly-away and trade-in credits. Registration fees, personal property taxes, jet fuel and aviation gasoline taxes are also covered.
In addition to tax data, contact information for the Departments of Revenue and Aviation in each state is included.
The guide is PC based and has the ability to compare three states side by side, which enables users to quickly compare tax rates and exemptions for the selected states, according to company officials.
A one-year subscription is $450 and is downloadable from the Conklin & de Decker website enabling subscribers to have instant access to the data. In addition, the subscriber receives downloadable updates throughout the year.

I believe Conklin & de Decker is a PROFIT (not non-profit!) motivated private enterprise GA consulting business?
Wow! For $450 it would be cheaper to pay additional taxes.
Indeed, at least a listing of comparable services/companies could have been included. That way it would be general information rather than an add for one company.
Ditto Robert Gibbon’s comment. You should have placed the word ADVERTISEMENT at the top of this article.
Really? You basically ran an add for a company selling a $450 service.
