Lincoln Electric introduces Aspect 375

By General Aviation News Staff · March 17, 2015 ·

Lincoln Electric has introduced the Aspect 375, a new TIG welding power source intended for use on welding applications subject to the most rigorous testing requirements, including X-ray analysis.

The constant-current stick and TIG machine provides for a TIG output range of 2 to 375 amps (single-phase range is de-rated to 2 to 250 amps) and is rated at 330 amps at 40% duty cycle, and 300 amps at 60% duty cycle, according to company officials.

Aspect 375 Ready-PakIt features AC Auto-Balance technology that automatically adjusts cleaning and penetration levels during aluminum welding. It also features Intellistart technology, which can be activated to automatically control arc starting intensity for “soft” arc starting on thin materials and hotter arc starting characteristics required for thicker materials, company officials explain.

The Aspect 375 is available as a standalone machine or as a Ready-Pak, which includes a cart, cooler, torch, foot pedal, cables and other accessories.
