Breitling introduces Navitimer Aurora Blue

By General Aviation News Staff · September 15, 2016 ·

Breitling has introduced the Breitling Navitimer GMT Aurora Blue.

The 1,000-piece limited edition features an aviation slide rule and a dual timezone system. breitling-blueTo adjust the main hour hand to local time, the wearer need only pull out the crown and turn it in either direction in one-hour increments – without losing any precision in terms of the minutes and with the date being automatically adjusted both forwards and backwards.

Meanwhile, the red-tipped hand continues to show home time in 24-hour mode, serving to distinguish day from night.

A transparent sapphire crystal caseback allows the wearer to see the movement chronometer certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).

The Navitimer GMT Aurora Blue features a colorful rubber strap matching the dial color and adorned with an aircraft-tire tread motif. It is also available with a leather or crocodile leather strap, or a steel bracelet.
