Craig Warren submitted the following photo and note: “Recent restoration of a 1959 Piper Tri-Pacer. Ready for 60 more years.”

Would you like to have your photo featured as Picture of the Day? You can submit it via this form.
All photos sent in for Picture of the Day are also considered for our new Page 4 photo feature in the print issue of General Aviation News, as well as A Year in Pictures in the December issues.

Agree with Granpa. Wishing Craig’s Tri-Pacer another 60 years in the skies!
Note to GA News Staff: could you ask restoration photo submitters to consider following up with the plane’s story: it’s life history and restoration? It would be great reading, with good tips for other owners doing or considering restorations.

The caption says the pic was submitted by Jacint Puigmarti and that the pic was taken in Spain. Then, after clicking on Picture of The Day, another caption comes up saying the pic was submitted by Craig Warren. All of this is a bit confusing.
One thing that is not is the fact that it is indeed a nice looking restoration.
My apologies Granpa. The discrepancy between the email and the website was my fault. The website information is correct. And yes, it is a nice looking restoration.
Sure does look good! Thanks for that memory as I had a 57′ Tri Pacer. Flew that plane everywhere east of the MS river. Was a great plane for the money.
BEAUTIFUL PA-22.
