Video: Highlights from Warbird Roundup

By General Aviation News Staff · August 13, 2020 ·

The news came this week that there will be no Warbird Roundup for 2020, a casualty of the pandemic.

That led Frederick A. Johnsen, the force behind the Airailimages YouTube channel and the Of Wings & Things columnist for General Aviation News, to put together a video of the highlights from other Warbird Roundups over the years.

“Warbird Roundup is a successful blend of warbirds from around the western United States,” Fred states. “The hosting Warhawk Air Museum at Nampa, Idaho, flies some of its own collection for the weekend, as do visiting warbird operators.”

“Since the Warhawk Air Museum will not be able to have a show this summer as a fundraiser, how about showing appreciation for their service to the warbird and museum communities by making a cash contribution to the non-profit Warhawk Air Museum?” Fred continued. “You can visit their website to make a donation via PayPal, or send a check. We did, because every dollar helps.”

Fred also offers a link to another Warbird Roundup video from the Airailimages Channel:
