Sentimental Journey offers scholarship

The Sentimental Journey Fly-In is offering a $1,000 scholarship to high school students who are interested in learning to fly or furthering their aviation training.

The scholarship is available to any student in Pennsylvania who is 15 years or older. It is also open to any child or grandchild of a Sentimental Journey member, regardless of where they live in the United States, provided they are 15 or older.

If interested, call 570-893-4200 or email [email protected] for an application and guidelines. Applications must be in by May 15, 2021.

Sentimental Journey is a non-profit organization that puts on the annual fly-in in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. This year’s event is slated for June 22-26, 2021. Anyone who would like to volunteer at the fly-in should call 570-893-4200.

If you would like to donate towards the scholarship fund, you can send donations to Sentimental Journey, P.O. Box J3, Lock Haven, PA, 17745.
