Aviation businesses gearing up for growth

By General Aviation News Staff · April 7, 2021 ·

The JSfirm.com 2021 Hiring Trends Survey shows that more than 50% of hiring professionals, executives, and business owners in the aviation industry are projecting growth in 2021.

Even better, the survey found that 66% of those surveyed did not cut any jobs in 2020, despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy.

For the survey, officials with JSfirm.com, an aviation job website, questioned officials at 200 companies across various sectors of the aviation industry.

What they found:

  • 50.84% are projecting moderate growth in 2021
  • 32.93% expect to hire in the second quarter (April to June) of 2021
  • Pilots, maintenance and avionics technicians remain in highest demand

“The results of our recent survey are encouraging for the industry,” said Sam Scanlon, managing partner of JSfirm.com. “It’s interesting to see how many companies were not affected too much by the pandemic: Airlines make the headlines, but the fact is, the small to medium size companies that make up the majority of our infrastructure made it through the past year and are now gearing up for growth.”

“Overall traffic on our website continues to increase from both job seekers and companies,” he added. “We are anxious to see how the remainder of 2021 plays out.”

JSfirm.com has exclusively served the aviation industry for more than 20 years. It is a free service for job seekers.

Wait until the “Biden Affect” kicks in…..All those unlost jobs in 2020 were before this nightmare. If the industry doesn’t think that 30% higher taxes and 50% higher fuel prices won’t affect them, they are delusional… Don’t blame me. I don’t vote for him…

No kidding. What possessed (whatever real amount) of people to vote for that Alzheimer’s Poster Child? And even before he lost his sense (very little ever existed), was the worst possible choice. I left the D Party after the Big O. They have all gone nuts.
