I wonder what camera equipment and settings he used to get that shot.
An iPhone 13 Pro Max on auto. Really. I was astounded by the quality, and spent the next hour wandering around the grass field taking pictures of other airplanes. Pretty magical night and a very fun fly-in; that bunch knows how to have fun. The original (uncompressed for publication) photo clearly shows Orion and lots of other stars.
