You are fortunate and hope you remember where that freedom comes from!, So instead of being ungrateful, be grateful and praiseworthy that the “older gentleman that could barely work his phone” took the time to take a photo of you and whether he is a veteran or not, you still owe him gratitude for your freedom! ! Show some respect and don’t “write off” the elderly.
Yes, but this building and land use freedom is not ‘hidden’. There is a huge amount of zoning, legal and neighborhood work required to exercise it. Not possible in many areas of this country, unfortunately. Nor is flying “…anywhere we want.” Easy to say, harder to do.
