AV8 Prep has launched its new online learning platform, with courses for the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial certificate, Certified Flight Instructor, and drone certificate.
According to company officials, they took nearly 30 months to complete production for the new courses, which include in-flight and cockpit video clips, 3D animations, live lectures and interviews, and more.
AV8 Prep uses a team approach to learning, with five instructors rotating throughout the courses, company officials noted.
While the courses offer flexibility, allowing students to learn at their own pace anytime, anywhere, students also can participate in interactive simulations and collaborate with instructors and fellow learners in real-time, according to company officials.
Additionally, the company’s mobile app is expected to be released in July 2023.

To celebrate the official launch, two instructors recently set out on a mission to land at all Florida public and paved airports in 72 hours.
Bob Kamm, a former Air Traffic Controller and instructor at AV8 Prep, flew alongside instructor Drew Clark, landing at all 104 airports in three days in a Cirrus SR22.
To celebrate the successful completion of the mission, AV8 Prep is going to give away a free online ground school for each airport they landed at.
