Zenith Aircraft hosts Fly-In to Summer

By General Aviation News Staff · June 20, 2024 ·

Several Zenith aircraft outside the company’s factory at the airport in Mexico, Missouri.

Zenith Aircraft’s Fly-In to Summer annual open house is set for Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the company’s newly expanded factory at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ) in Mexico, Missouri.

The Zenith Aircraft factory will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for self-guided factory tours, demonstrations, and more. The company recently completed a 10,000-square-foot expansion to the factory.

Factory demonstrator aircraft will be available for viewing on the ramp in front of the factory, and customer airplanes are also expected to fly-in for the event, according to company officials.

For more than 30 years Zenith has been manufacturing aircraft kits designed by aeronautical engineer Chris Heintz, including the STOL CH 701, STOL CH 750, Zenith CH 750 Cruzer, and Zenith CH 650. The STOL CH 750 Super Duty, a short take-off and landing (STOL) airplane with a rear jump seat, is the latest model from Zenith Aircraft.
