The flying prowess of an ag pilot

By General Aviation News Staff · August 22, 2024 · Leave a Comment

Fred Johnsen, the force behind the Airailimages YouTube channel and General Aviation News Of Wings & Things columnist, recently posted a video to YouTube showcasing the piloting skills of a cropduster in Iowa.

Fred explains: “While driving country roads in Iowa in August 2024, we encountered an agplane pilot and his Air Tractor AT400 masterfully negotiating the terrain, structures, and a forest of giant wind turbines.”

Fred adds that in the video, you can occasionally hear a chattering sound that came from one of the nearest wind turbines as its blades rotated.
