The 2025 Women in Aviation International (WAI) scholarship program is officially open, with applications being accepted for 59 scholarships for flight training, engineering, maintenance, dispatch, and general career advancement for individuals in all stages of life.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for up to three scholarships a year, according to association officials.

Since 1995, WAI members have received more than $15 million in scholarships.

Many of the 2025 scholarships will be awarded during the 36th  Annual Women in Aviation International Conference in Denver, Colorado, from March 27-29, 2025.

To qualify for a scholarship, the applicant must be a WAI member as of Oct. 1, 2024. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 11, 2024, 11:59 p.m. EST.

Details of each scholarship, application requirements, FAQs, plus tips for submitting a winning application can be found at WAI.org/Scholarships.
