$145,000 in scholarships offered to high school students

By General Aviation News Staff · September 20, 2025 · Leave a Comment

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Florida — Epic Flight Academy will award 17 scholarships totaling $145,000 in its 10th Annual Aviation Scholarship Awards.

U.S. high school juniors and seniors are invited to apply for the pilot and aircraft mechanic training scholarships. Deadline to apply is Oct. 1, 2025.

“This is the largest amount we have ever allocated for the annual scholarship awards,” said Epic Founder and CEO Danny Perna. “To date, we’ve given more than $445,000 to 35 high school students since we began making these awards in 2016.”

The academy has 10 campuses around the country and applicants are asked to select which campus they’d like to attend, added Cindy Lovell, director of education.

“With just two weeks left to apply, we want to remind students not to wait until the last minute,” she added. “We’ve seen a good response so far and want to encourage eligible students to apply.”

Students can apply online at EpicFlightAcademy.com.
