That’s B.S……It’s powered by a Yamaha 30hp.
😂😂 30hp only at sea level!
That is a Murphy Rebel based in Green Bay. It is sitting on Murphy 1800 amphibious floats and is powered by a Lycoming O-320D2J (160hp). The prop is a Sensenich 2 Blade Lycoming O-320/O-360 Ground Adjustable 82” STOL Propeller.
Thank You for the detailed information in the caption. The picture is beautiful, the little boat towing the airplane tells a good visual story. But I love a caption that provides technical detail on the airplane, the primary subject of the newsletter (generalaviationnews). (I am mostly ground bound since retiring but I enjoy airplanes on the Internet.)
Please advise… I don’t recognize the aircraft type…? Also what type engine/prop and floats?
