Cirrus Scottsdale expands Vision jet training

By General Aviation News Staff · October 12, 2025 · Leave a Comment

Cirrus Aircraft has expanded its recurrent Vision Jet flight training capability at Cirrus Scottsdale with the addition of a flight simulator.

Built by CAE, the Vision Jet flight training simulator replicates the flight deck environment to train pilots on procedures, maneuvers, and emergencies, according to company officials.

The new simulator building is housed in an off-airport facility near Cirrus Scottsdale at Scottsdale Airport (KSDL) in Arizona. It can accommodate up to 45 pilots per month, according to company officials.

Cirrus Scottsdale currently provides Cirrus flight training for the SR Series and Vision Jet pilot services. With the expansion of flight training capability to now include recurrent Vision Jet training, Cirrus Scottsdale will recruit additional flight instructors, simulator technicians, and other employees, company officials said.

Recurrent training will become available in March 2026.

Vision Jet pilots seeking recurrent training can make a reservation at [email protected].
