Lima Flight App Upgraded

By General Aviation News Staff · January 30, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Lima Flight, a mobile app that connects student pilots and general aviators to CFIs, flight schools, mechanics, and aircraft rentals through databases of searchable, customized profiles, has recently debuted new features in its 1.3.0 update.

Community Connect is a new Lima Flight addition that allows users to become familiar with and reach out to industry leaders in education, financing, insurance, scholarships, and more. Community Connect partners include Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Stratus Financial, Gold Seal Ground School, ASA, and Aviation Start. Additional Community Connect partners will be added throughout 2026, company officials noted.

Additional new features include an interactive map and upgrades to the newly-added aviation maintenance and rental aircraft directories.

Profiles are currently free to post. However, monthly profile maintenance fees will be added in the coming weeks to “ensure that directories remain current,” company officials said, noting the CFI profile will be $10 a month, flight school profile $50 a month, independent mechanics $10 a month, maintenance facilities $50 a month, and rental aircraft $25 a month.

The mobile app is free to download on the Apple Store and Google Play.
