Dallas Flight School Launches Aerobatic Training Program

By General Aviation News Staff · February 21, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Thrust Flight, a Dallas-based flight school, has launched its Thrust Aerobatic Training Package, as well as the formation of the Thrust Aerobatic Team.

The training program includes eight hours of specialized aerobatic and upset recovery instruction.

“Students train in critical skills such as upset prevention and recovery, advanced decision-making, precision control and situational awareness under dynamic flight conditions,” flight school officials said.

Upon completing the training, top-performing students will be invited to try out for the Thrust Aerobatic Team, which officials say is the only flight school-sponsored aerobatic team in the U.S. The chosen students will compete in national-level events flying the GB1 GameBird and Super Decathlon (pictured above), according to officials.

Aerobatic training will be initially offered at Thrust Flight’s Addison and Denison campuses.
