Sporty’s Adds Compact Flight Sim Controller to Lineup

By General Aviation News Staff · March 6, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Sporty’s now offers the Echo Aviation Controller, an all-in-one flight simulation controller from Honeycomb.

Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 12, the Echo Aviation Controller integrates primary flight controls (pitch, roll, and yaw) with secondary and trim inputs into a single, handheld unit. Throttle, propeller, and mixture controls are built directly into the controller, complemented by dedicated levers for flaps, landing gear position, speed brakes, and parking brake.

“We’re excited for the Echo controller, because it blends the three needed flight sim hardware components — yoke, throttle, and rudder pedals — into one compact device,” said Chris McGonegle, editor of Sporty’s flight simulator blog and resident flight sim expert. “It’s a great option for digital pilots on the go who can’t carry large hardware pieces with them, and the wireless capability is icing on the cake.”

Price: $149.99.
