Cirrus has launched its Mission Ready Simulator Sessions, a year-long simulator training program developed specifically for Cirrus SR20 and Cirrus SR22 owners. The program is available at participating Cirrus Training Centers in the U.S.
The program delivers 24 structured, mission-based simulator sessions released twice per month, giving SR Series owners a way to maintain and elevate proficiency year-round, according to company officials. Owners may complete one of the two available sessions each month.
“Extensive aviation research, along with decades of operational experience in flight training environments, continues to demonstrate that structured simulation is one of the most effective tools for strengthening pilot decision-making and sustaining proficiency,” said Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus. “The Cirrus Mission Ready Simulator Sessions program represents the first phase of a broader investment to expand flight training content designed to enhance safety through continuous learning.”

All Mission Ready Simulator Sessions are developed by Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots. Through each course, pilots complete missions that integrate real-world decision-making, aircraft systems knowledge, risk management, and more. Realistic ATC communications are embedded in each scenario, company officials noted.
Regular content updates are delivered within the first week of each month. Owners can enroll immediately through Cirrus Approach and complete sessions at participating Cirrus Training Centers nationwide.
The online courseware is complimentary. Instructor fees and simulator fees are not included and are sold separately through Cirrus Training Centers in the U.S.
