The Dynon Group — encompassing Dynon Avionics, Trig, and Advanced Flight Systems — introduced several new products at the 2026 SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, including a stand-alone Engine Monitor configuration for SkyView HDX, a new audio panel and Com radio capabilities for SkyView HDX, and integration with an upcoming SiriusXM Aviation weather integration for Advanced Flight Systems displays.
SkyView HDX Stand-Alone Engine Monitor
The stand-alone Engine Monitor configuration of Dynon’s flagship SkyView HDX system is for experimental amateur-built and light sport aircraft (E-AB/LSA).
The configuration features a simplified, engine-focused user interface for streamlined operation, according to company officials.
Serving as the most cost-effective entry point into the SkyView HDX ecosystem, the stand-alone Engine Monitor serves as a partial panel upgrade that is expandable to a complete SkyView HDX system in the future, company officials explained.
Pricing begins at $4,909 for a 7-inch display configured for Rotax iS engines and $5,771 for Lycoming/Continental 4-cylinder engines.
Stand-alone Engine Monitoring will be available in an upcoming SkyView HDX software update.
Remote Audio Panel and Dual Com Radio Support
SkyView HDX is also slated to receive a suite of audio-enhancing features designed to streamline cockpit management and ATC communications. An upcoming update will introduce support for select remote audio panels, including the PS Engineering PMA 450 EX-R.

This allows for control of a full-featured audio panel directly from the SkyView HDX system via a new Audio Panel Menu, freeing up panel space, Dynon officials said.
Additionally, the update introduces dual Com radio awareness and control. Pilots with two installed radios will be able to select frequencies directly from the SkyView HDX aircraft database for both units, switching which radio is depicted and controlled in the system’s status bar.
SiriusXM Weather Coming to Advanced Flight Systems
Coming in the summer of 2026, Advanced Flight Systems will introduce high-resolution, satellite-delivered weather to the AF-5000/6000 Series Avionics Systems.

Delivered via the Advanced SiriusXM Aviation Weather Receiver, pilots will have access to weather data from run-up to landing.
