French manufacturer Elixir Aircraft has launched its first deliveries to the U.S., reporting that three aircraft will be delivered to Florida and Arizona, with plans to show off the training aircraft at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026.
Aircraft will be delivered first to Cirrus Aviation, a Florida-based flight school and Elixir Aircraft’s first U.S. customer, which has ordered 10 aircraft.
Sierra Charlie Aviation based in Scottsdale, Arizona, also will receive its first Elixir as part of a pre-order for 100 aircraft.
The first three U.S.-based Elixir will be displayed at AirVenture this July. This will mark Elixir Aircraft’s fifth participation in the world’s largest aviation gathering and the first time the aircraft on display will have flown to the event, according to company officials.
Nearly 300 pre-orders have been recorded in the U.S. market for the new aircraft.
“The start of our deliveries to the United States marks a decisive milestone for Elixir Aircraft. It is the culmination of 10 years of work and the realization of the trust placed in us by leading partners such as Cirrus Aviation and Sierra Charlie Aviation. Seeing our aircraft soon flying in the American sky, and then arriving at Oshkosh by air, is a great source of pride for our entire team,” said Arthur Léopold-Léger, President and Co-Founder of Elixir Aircraft.
Elixir’s two-seat training aircraft was certified by the FAA in July 2025. A reassembly and delivery facility is in the works in Sarasota, Florida, for the company.
