- Aug. 25, 2026: UPRTA International’s Accreditation Standard: UPRTA International will soon launch its new accreditation standard for training providers and operators, offering a framework for world-class UPRT programs. Leadership will explain the impact on pilots, training providers, and operators.
- Nov. 17, 2026: UPRT Safety Summit for Pilots Worldwide is a one-day virtual event where aviation experts present best practices, strategies, and the association’s vision to eliminate LOC-I risks. This year’s agenda includes analysis of past LOC-I incidents, lessons learned, and updates from each UPRTA International team lead.
“The aviation industry has made important progress establishing regulatory foundations for upset prevention and recovery training,” said UPRTA International President Paul “BJ” Ransbury. “Those standards provide the minimum framework from which the industry can continue building more effective, operationally meaningful approaches to reducing Loss of Control In-flight risk.”
“The next phase of progress is advancing UPRT provider quality, effectiveness, and implementation standards that strengthen pilot readiness and improve safety outcomes worldwide,” he continued. “This webinar series is intended to bring the global UPRT community together around practical guidance, shared operational experience, and collaborative strategies that continue raising the standard of aviation safety.”
