Since iFlightPlanner started reporting on aviation fuel prices late last year, I’ve appreciated seeing the monthly data.
But the May 2026 report included the bit of data I’ve been waiting for.
Fuel Price Trend
Seeing fuel price trends over time adds another layer to the bigger picture. A simple bar chart is the epitome of the saying, a picture is worth a thousand words.

More evidence on the importance to end global terrorism from the Iranian regime, vigorously exploit our vast fossil fuel resources in the US, and adopt mogas + diesel as the primary fuels for aviation. Ridiculously high taxes on diesel also need to come down. It should be the cheapest fuel of all, since it used to feed the world in agricultural equipment, trucks, trains and ships.
