There’s a new addition at Watertown Municipal Airport (KRYV) in Wisconsin: A Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall replica at Marine Corps League Aero Park on the northeast corner of airport.

The 80%-scale replica of the Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., stretches 320 feet in length, with panels ranging from 2 to 8 feet high. It bears the names of more than 58,000 Americans who gave their lives in service to our country.

The project, spearheaded by the Watertown American Legion Post 189, was also made possible by its collaboration with all veteran organizations in Watertown and the numerous efforts and donations of the community. More than $600,000 was raised for the cause, according to officials with Wisconsin Aviation, which is based at the airport.

The dedication ceremony was held on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026, and attended by more than 1,000 residents from the Watertown area.

Equipped with lighting, benches, and security cameras, the Wall is open to the public with viewing hours around the clock.

“You owe it to yourself to visit this magnificent, meaningful piece of architecture,” said officials with Wisconsin Aviation. “Each name etched into the wall tells a story of courage, sacrifice, and dedication to our great nation. The site serves as a sacred space where families, friends, and future generations can come to reflect and remember.”
