AWEROK, a free companion app for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, slated for July 20-26 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is now available on iOS and Android.
Built by pilot and longtime attendee Brad Young, the app brings the full event schedule, a live map of the grounds, food vendor listings, and group planning tools together in one place, with the goal of helping attendees spend less time on logistics and more time enjoying the show.
Each July, the Oshkosh fly-in draws hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts and offers hundreds of forums, workshops, and events across a single week. Keeping track of it all, and navigating the sprawling grounds, has long been a challenge. The app was built to solve exactly that, according to Young.
One of the app’s features, On My Radar, uses a text-similarity engine to read each session’s title, description, and speakers, then surfaces related events an attendee might otherwise miss.
“The hardest part of Oshkosh isn’t finding an event — it’s not missing the one that was perfect for you,” he said. “That’s the problem I most wanted to solve.”
The app also features a live, GPS-referenced map of the grounds that shows a user’s real-time location, so attendees can see exactly where they are among the forums, food vendors, and other points of interest.

Additional features include:
- A full schedule attendees can filter, search, and bookmark
- A live grounds map showing forums, food vendors, and points of interest
- Food vendor listings with hours
- Group planning that lets friends share event lists and see at a glance what the rest of their crew is checking out on the schedule
- A home base with a countdown, saved events, and the latest updates
Alongside the official event schedule, the app lists community meetups and gatherings held throughout the week, and it lets users request that their own event or meetup be added. It already includes attendee favorites like the SOS Bros Beer Tent, with its food menu, hours, and nightly live music acts all listed in the app.
“I’ve been flying into Oshkosh for years, and every trip I wished I had a better way to keep track of everything going on,” he said. “I wanted to build a tool that helps the whole community, so everyone can have their best week out there.”

While the app focuses on Oshkosh, it is designed to support other aviation events as well, with more planned, Young said. Event organizers interested in featuring their event can reach out for details.
AWEROK is free on the App Store and Google Play.
