Keith Chatten has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Continental Aerospace Technologies.

Chatten brings more than 30 years of experience in the general aviation industry, according to company officials. He returns to Continental having previously served nearly 15 years at the company in various engineering and leadership roles.

“Continental has been at the heart of general aviation for more than 120 years, and I am honored to lead the company during this exciting moment in its history,” said Chatten. “I spent nearly 15 years of my career at Continental, and this company and its people have always held a special place for me. I look forward to working alongside this talented team to build on Continental’s legacy of engineering excellence while continuing to deliver the high-quality products, reliability and customer support that have defined the company for generations.”

Chatten holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from the University of South Alabama.

Chatten’s appointment follows on the purchase of Continental by Arcline Investment Management, a private equity firm.
