The 2025 race will take off June 17, 2025, from H.L. Sonny Callahan Airport (KCQF) in Fairhope, Alabama, and end June 20 at Felts Field Airport (KSFF) in Spokane, Washington.
Air Plains Services debuts second adjustable airbox bracket for Cessna 172s
While the company’s first adjustable bracket includes one adjustable piece where the unit attaches to the engine, the newest PMA bracket provides a second adjustment where the bracket connects with the engine baffles, company officials explained.

Volunteers restore fly-in cabins in Alaska
Seven volunteers from around the country joined US Forest Service employees to complete repairs and restore cabin access for users with mobility challenges. Additional work, including clearing trail and filling woodsheds, was accomplished at a second cabin on Heckman Lake and a cabin on nearby Jordan Lake.
Florida’s Aerospace Center for Excellence introduces preschool program
The parent participation class is designed for children aged 3-5. Each week students and parents will explore a letter of the alphabet and coordinating aviation concept using hands-on, skill-based learning centered around play.
