David Dow submitted these photos and a note: “These folks are conducting training flights at Heber Springs Municipal Airport (KHBZ) in Arkansas. Fire Boss aircraft are used for fighting fires. They scoop up water in the floats from a nearby lake or river. In this case, they are operating out of Greers Ferry Lake, just north of Little Rock. These aircraft have a useful load of almost 7,000 pounds. They are very big!”

National Celebration of General Aviation D.C. Flyover gets final approval
