A few seconds after rotating I stated feeling symptoms of what I believed to be from the CO. I was going to give the plane to my student so I could open the door for air as he warned me of the sensor reading close to 250 ppm of CO.

For an uncontrolled field, it is one of the most dangerous airports I have ever flown. Traffic on any given day is packed with student pilots, private pilots, traveling pilots coming to ZZZ and — worse yet — gliders on a parallel runway to the active non-glider, powered runway. It’s a mess.

The cable was completely severed at the carburetor.

I was looking out the left window and noticed an aircraft whiz from underneath and behind me and begin a turn inland. It is hard to judge the distance, but he was way too close for comfort.

The lights border the grass runway, rather than the asphalt runway that I meant to land on. As a result, I landed on the grass runway, when I expected to land on asphalt. This was potentially dangerous.

Lost power at approximately 1,000 feet toward end of climbout to remain in pattern for touch and goes. I checked for any remedial problems and saw none, but noticed my prop was not turning.

I concluded that it would take longer than the flight I had planned for any potential side effects to develop, so I launched on a four-hour flight. Towards the end of this flight, I made an unscheduled fuel stop and started to develop a mild headache.

All of the sudden, without any warning, the pilot side door blew off of the aircraft and completely detached.
