The newly completed ‘Hoosiers in Flight’ display at Indianapolis International Airport recognizes and honors more than 40 INAHOF members, Indiana natives and long-term residents, who have made an enduring contribution to aviation or aerospace in Indiana, the nation, or the world through achievement, leadership, exceptional service, innovation, or entrepreneurial spirit”.

Gilles Roy submitted this photo and note: “My aircraft is a 2007 Cessna Turbo Skylane. I was flying over Salton Sea, south of Coachella Valley in Southern California, at an altitude 3,000 MSL. I question if you can find out this: Am I flying in the sunrise or sunset? I am the only soul aboard. This is a clip of a GoPro video, one of the best I did over many years. Mother Nature often offers us spectacular views, now decide if it’s morning or late in the day…sunrise or sunset.”

Bill Bennett submitted this photo and note: “We recently took a trip from Texas to California in our SOCATA TB-20 Trinidad. When landing at Redding Regional Airport (KRDD) in California it was a very clear day. You can clearly see Mt. Shasta about 54 nm north of the airport as we prepare to land on Runway 34. Redding is at 505 MSL while Mt. Shasta tops out at 14,162 MSL.”
