Most of them just show a circle with the letter R inside — why not the more logical P for private? And others have the more standard symbol, but then after the name of the airport it says (Pvt).

Companies partner to develop engine monitoring for Aspen MFDs

The new engine monitoring features, currently in development, are “designed to provide precise engine data in an intuitive format to enhance pilot safety and aircraft performance with intuitive engine instrumentation,” on Aspen’s Evolution MFD500 MAX and MFD1000 MAX multi-function displays, according to Aspen Avionics officials.
