EAA aims to inspire future pilots with Learn to Fly Week
Learn to Fly Week returns May 13-18, 2024, with 15 free webinars. New topics for 2024 include getting started with helicopters, aircraft options for flight training, and training with FAA-approved flight simulators. All webinars are free to attend, but online pre-registration is required, according to EAA officials.
ForeFlight unveils Reported Turbulence
The Reported Turbulence feature gives near real-time reports of turbulence and smooth air actually encountered by pilots flying with ForeFlight’s Sentry or Sentry Plus devices.
Legal, but not very smart
I do not know why the other pilot thought it was a good idea to fly 500 feet above the ZZZ Bravo without communicating with anyone. I get that it’s legal, but it wasn’t very smart.
