Air Race Classic takes off today

The Air Race Classic takes off today, with 49 teams departing Lake Havasu City, Arizona. According to a story at the HavasuNews.com, the racers have eight airports that they must either land at or fly over before reaching their final destination in Batavia in southern Ohio at Sporty‘s headquarters.

ASRS marks 1 million reports

Kingston-Ulster Airport (20N) in Kingston, N.Y., is hosting an Aviation Photo & Art Exhibit until June 30. The exhibit features aerial photographs and aviation-inspired photos, art and sculpture beneath the arched ceiling of the airport’s 4,800-square-foot hangar.
