N89 installs AWOS

The Joseph Y. Resnick Airport (N89) in Ellenville, N.Y., recently completed installation of the Belfort DigiWx II AWOS AV system. The Belfort DigiWx II is an automated weather system reporting FAA-certified altimeter visibility with advisory winds, temperature and humidity. Data shows business aircraft activity down

Business aircraft activity in June 2009 was down just 1.45% from May but down 16.8% compared to June 2008. The data, as reported by Aviation Research Group (ARG/US) looks at arrival and departure information for all IFR flights in the United States.
