LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — In July, August and September, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to $614,406,537.56 according to the most recent Avionics Market Report released by the Aircraft Electronics Association. For the first nine months of the year, sales total $1,918,282,585.36.
The Aircraft Electronics Association’s recently released second-quarter 2014 Avionics Market Report shows that in the three-month period of April, May and June 2014, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to more than $652 million.
That represented a 2.7% increase in sales compared to the second-quarter 2013 amount of more than $635 million as reported a year ago by the participating companies.
To help owners of general aviation aircraft meet the FAA’s ADS-B Out mandate, the Aircraft Electronics Association will randomly award five aircraft owners with $1,000 toward an ADS-B compliant upgrade.
LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — The Aircraft Electronics Association released its first-quarter 2014 Avionics Market Report, which shows that in the first three months of the year, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to more than $651 million.
That amount shows an 11.2% increase in sales compared to the first-quarter 2013 amount of more than $586 million.
Members of the Aircraft Electronics Association recently elected new representatives to its board of directors, and the AEA board of directors elected a new chairman and new vice chairman.

In the first three months of 2013, total worldwide avionics sales amounted to $1,706,006,894.49, or more than $1.7 billion, as reported by the 20 aviation electronics manufacturers participating in the first quarterly Avionics Market Report from the Aircraft Electronics Association.
