Op Technologies avionics package selected for Javelin Jet

By General Aviation News Staff · September 22, 2006 ·

Aviation Technology Group (ATG) has selected the Op Technologies avionics package for its Javelin jet. The avionics package includes an Integrated Display System (IDS) that consists of three units in both the forward and aft cockpits, which function as a primary flight display (PFD), a multifunction display (MFD) and an engine instrument and crew alerting system (EICAS). The Multifunction Control and Display Unit (MCDU), located in the top center of the instrument panel, provides full control of the Flight Management System (FMS), autoflight, and navigation-communication equipment.

Certifcation and initial customer deliveries of the Javelin are slated for 2008.
