The Evektor SportStar now boasts a 55 lbs. weight increase.
The increased gross weight SportStar is called the “SportStar Plus.” The weight increase will give the SportStar Plus a maximum takeoff weight of 1,268 lbs., up from the original 1,213 lbs.
“The increase in gross weight is a great improvement to the SportStar,” said Jeff Conrad, president of Evektor America. “It is evidence of Evektor’s dedication to the continuing development of their growing family of aircraft.”
Meanwhile, the company’s SportStar Flight Center program is expanding nationally with 12 flight schools: St. Charles Flying Service of St. Louis; JK Aviation of Ramona, Calif.; Wright Aero of Minneapolis; Aero Tech of Lexington, Ky.; Henley Aviation of Kinston, N.C.; The Plane Collection of Miami; AB Flight of Kutztown, Pa.; Fast Track Flight of Columbus, Ind.; Northwest Sport Planes of San Juan Island, Wash.; California Sport Aviation of Sacramento; Acme Aviation of Salinas, Calif.; Aviator of Grand Prairie, Texas; and Community Aerosports of Farmington, N.M.
