Textron Inc., parent company of Cessna Aircraft and Lycoming Engines, spent $880,000 lobbying in the second quarter, according to an Associated Press story at Forbes.com.
That compares to $1 million during the same time period last year and $2.1 million in the first quarter, according to the story, which notes that company officials lobbied lawmakers on several defense and military projects, as well as general aviation user fees, fuel taxes and aerospace flight testing standards.
