The Key West International Airport (EYW) in Florida is hosting the first-ever Southernmost Openhouse & Aviation Review (SOAR) on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. Admission is free and gates are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family-friendly aviation event is being produced by a new 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization called Friends of the Airport.
SOAR Key West will include static display aircraft to explore, airplane rides to be experienced (free to kids ages 8-17), aviation exhibits and merchandise booths, food and beverage vendors, and access to the new terminal.
Vendor booth spaces are still available as well as sponsorship opportunities. Please note SOAR is not an air show or a fly-in, organizers said.
